Be sure to visit THE NEWEST hub in Singapore. Just opened on 7/10/2006, Vivo City is the largest shopping hub in Singapore. You will never complete walking into shops after shops in just one day. Examining each product sold there is another demanding but challenging task to complete. However, walking into it would allow you to feel extremely "HIGH".
Today, developing this entry, is the first experience in the 8 day opened hub, and 254++ tenents(of course some still renovating). Haha, you would feel extremely tired after walking for the whole day. If you want to find out more, go to http://www.vivocity.com.sg/ find out yourself. The hub is extremely large, the largest, as I said, in Singapore.
Vivo City, As I wondered, came from which other word that gave them this cute little inspiration to create this word, Vivo City. after examination, the special word was "vivacity" which means "A vivacious person, especially a woman or girl, is attractively energetic and enthusiastic". Haha. Connected to the future Integrated Resort, the Past World Trade Center, the present Harbourfront, and the after renovated Seah Im food Centre, vivo City lies at the southern tip of mainland Singapore. The hub, attracted thousands of people flocking there today. I just wished that there were only 200 people in the hub at one time, and I will be the lucky one enjoying everything. The business there were thriving like mad, and the 4000 carpark lots multi-storey carpark was probably full. The hundreds of shops had thousands of people flocking at once. Vivo City, a entertainment hub at every level, will probably drive you crazy by the pamaronic beauty of its arcitecture and the building's extraordinary design. Furthermore, the outdoor sky park was an ideal place for new couples to witness the beauty of the forested island of Sentosa, the biggest cruises in singapore, the cranes and machinery on the west, when facing Sentosa. Feeling the breezes would allow kids feel great pleasure after waddling in the "murky" sandy artistic design of pool. Teenage addicted to games could go to the EZONE at the roof of the entertainment hub. Food and beverages are everywhere no matter where you are. However, what you have to suffer is the long standing queues in the air-conditioned ground.
Travelling there is the most convinient task as you may hail a cab there, you can board MRT or buses there, you can walk there. DUH. But please please, avoid taking private transport there, because the traffic condition would paralyse you very badly. The combined supermarket there, known as the Vivomart, consists of Cold Storage, Giant and some other stalls. Giant Hypermarket is really hyper or mega ^ 2, 2 or 3 storeys high.
The only two disadvantages are you may not be able to find the things you want (like carpark lots, clothes, products), and squezzing through crowds and loads of people. People do not really like crowds should avoid Saturday's and Sundays as there would be lots of people. They are advised to go there on working days or in the mornings. It would be miracle for crowds to die down significantly in weekends.
Haha, after said much, I would also like to advise you to go there with your friends or family. This is because you will only feel the entertainment and fun there. Haha, now, after saying so much, the only thing you need to do is to explore and excavate for new stuffs in Vivo City. Vivo City is an ideal place for everything, and it is comparable to Mid Valley City in KL.
