Haha, why was my English the lousiest and another language unknown to me the highest?
I usually spoke English and Chinese rather than Malay at home or in school, why didn't they score well? Probably because of the paper lah, Haiz.
Wednesday is free from everything, but Cikgu Faizal approached me on the Literature exam day and invited me for the Johor Baru trip on that Wednesday. The whole day event was gloriously successful as Mr Faizal and Mr Tieu brought us there. The sky wasn't clear of haze but the particles in the humid atmosphere waited with anticipation. Soon, altogether I think 20 of us, we boarded the bus. With so many faces I do not know, I tried to communicate with them. Joseph (Sec 3 Proed)(Library EP3), Kenneth (Ortus 1I) and the two seniors which participated in the Racial Harmony 2006 play with me were all there. Still, there were several unknown faces as I do not know most of the "Malaysian Scholars". Just to make myself clear, there were a couple of Singaporeans too.
Slowly, the bus departed from Hwa Chong and the sun was rising slowly. It was rather slow as we reached the Woodlands Checkpoint. Woodlands Checkpoint was the magical moment where most illegal things occur. One of them was smuggling. However, departure from Singapore was rather smooth as you will only need to have a chop on the passport. Especially when the Malaysian Passport went electronic as the officer just had to scan it for details.
Soon, the bus "dumped" us at the Woodlands checkpoint and left hurriedly without us. What I thought was different. I thought that the bus would go through the Woodlands Checkpoint, and the tour guide was Cikgu Faizal. But I was wrong. Since everything was sponsored, I barely could understand why the bus stopped at the "incorrect" place, walking through the long bridges and pavements just to reach the checkpoint, boarding SBS bus 170 and alighting it at the other side of the causeway. Of course, the vibrant image of Johor Baru was destroyed by the haze. You could bare see the word "Aiwa(is it?)" when entering Malaysia. The vibrant image of Malaysia was also destroyed by the (re-)construction of the checkpoint which took years to complete.
Getting past the human checkpoint was easy. You just need to insert the passport into the "MRT gateway" machine and after 10 seconds, the other gate would automatically open. Others would have to write the White card, get their passports chopped and ...before getting passed the checkpoint.
We waited for a miserable 30 minutes for getting through the malaysian Checkpoint because one of my seniors had its VISA expiring that day. The miserable 30 minutes still, was quite fun. The Star newspaper, the chewing gums, the currypuff and the different types of items sold in Malaysia. It has been some time I been to Malaysia. But this time, I went to Malaysia with a completely different group of people. I went there with my teachers and friends. Coming to Malaysia this time feels so cool and I felt I had returned to my own world, which is, not packed in the old dark room where the alcove is packed with thousands of books to learn.
However, this is not considered freedom. This was because I still need to understand the traditions(infer lah) of the Malays and be aware of my surroundings. Coming to Malaysia seemed coming back to a place which I lived. Just like, coming back to Singapore from an overseas trip. However, Malaysia is not considered my only home. The world is my home, my home is the world. Malaysia or Singapore or any other country is a part of my home (where the size or population of that particular country doesn't matter).
This is the part of the journey. The whole event does not end there. After waiting for 30 minutes, I edged out of the crowd, wearing the only Hwa Chong PE T-shirt, walked towards the side of the road, where the checkpoint was west of me and mainland Singapore was directly in front of me. What do I do there? I still felt a sense of uncertainty as there were no coach to bring us to the next destination. But what am I doing then, I was waiting for a coach, a Malaysian-hired coach. The haze situation was really bad then. With the grey outline of Singapore that contrasted with the white-greyish outline of the sky. I could see nothing. The sea was blue, however, the pavement wasn't well facilitated as the cement walls were not thatched properly to the bank of the sea. This is exceptionally haphazardous if a small child were to squezze through the walls and jump into the sea. Maybe, the authourities could do something to it.
When the bus arrived, my first impression was: there will be excess space on the humongous bus. The 21 people squezzing into a 49 seat bus? This caused me to giggle silently. The bus was named "DESARU" something something something. And the tour guide was a Malaysian Chinese who could speak 3 or more languages. He was Jeffery. (umm...Not Jeffery Lim DM of HCI hor). This is a malay cultural trip, and I found out something. He was speaking Chinese! This disabled Mr Faizal as he knows how to speak very basic Chinese only. Maybe, he had concerns for us as he knew that we do not understand if Jeffery had spoken in Malay. For this, we can see that Mr Faizal is understanding and willing to make some sacrifices.
Soon, after boarding the bus, we needed to alight again. The first stop was the museum. The national museum of Johor. I barely could understand and 吸收so many information all at once. From what I heard, Mr Wong Ah Fook was a great man. If I were to relate him with the museum, would he be the founder of the present building?
From what I heard, the building was once a palace. It had many storeys. I think it was one of the places Yamashita occupied to overlook the north of Singapore during World War II. Is it?
If you been to that place, please correct me if I am wrong. We went into the building after waiting for several minutes for the tour guide to purchase tickets. He mentioned, if you are students, you will get special offers. If you are foreigners you will get a more expansive price. If you are one of the locals, you will get a slightly cheaper price than the foreigners. We waited for a couple of minutes and saw two groups of Malay students (which I thought of some Secondary school students in Johor, Malaysia). One girl group, one boys group, both alighting the buses they hopped on and walked briskly to the museum.
Entering the museum was about 11am in the morning already. The sunshine was killing. The clouds did not appear in the sky. The haze situation was a little serious. We got into a building, and the tour guide began relating the history of the palace and the building to us. Such profound Chinese he spoke made me mesmerised of the blabbering unknown words. I cannot understand a single bit. The two groups of students also came in. Until then, the perspiration on our body made me uncomfortable.
He said that the Malaysian Museum had Chinese 对联 because of the fact that Mr Wong Ah Fook is a Chinese who helped in this building one way or another. He was a Chinese. Therefore, ther are several 对联 on the pillars. The tour guide also explain the differences between a female Malay burial and a male Malay burial, where the differences are the shape of the tomb. Soon, we walked one round and arrived at the exit with sweat oozing out of our sweat glands, and we saw one secret passage down an unknown place. The tour guide do not want to explain further.
We went into the main building where the wearing of shoes is prohibited. The exhibition starts on the second storey and no photography or videography is allowed. The gold and crystal yellow jewellery and many other fashionable artefacts that were found on the building were displayed there. This main building, on the second floor, shows the bedrooms of the Sultan, the bedrooms of the Sultan's mistress and many more. It also shows an example of an assembly that was carried out by the Sultan. (Chairs and tables arranged nicely and labelled: Who seat where.) The museum ends on the first storey where different artefacts, such as the forks and spoons the Sultan and the royal family used etc. The Keris is a sword used by the Sultan during hunts and fights, the different types of coins which includes a 1/4 cents coin, 1/2 cent coin, the banana money with banana motif printed without serial numbers on it and other notes that are valuable and worthwhile examining.
Before leaving the museum, we went to the room which kept some of the perserved animals Sultan's hunted. In that room, also showed the different achievements the Sultan made and the trophies the Sultan achieved. The room had all kinds of specimens the sultan hunted. There were tigers, crocodiles, birds and even a list of the dates the animals were hunted by the Sultan. After that, we went to the back of the museum for a phototaking. However, 3 people were missing. When we returned back, we found out that they were under the shade, waiting for us to come out.
Walking to the bus was a distance away. Beside the carpark was a souvenior shop, where we did not enter. When asked about the secret passage to the bottom of the palace, the tour guide did not answer the question (I could not remember what he spoken). I thought of him beating around the bush. Hmm...The next destination was a mosque, which we, non-muslim could not enter. This gave advantages to Mr Faizal, as he could enter the mosque and took several pictures of the mosque. What was amazing there was the bus, which was gigantic, could not enter the road towards the mosque because it was making a 315 degrees turn counter clockwise. Furthermore, the road was so narrow, which disabled the bus from entering the compound.
Outside the mosque, there was a tablet which I could barely read which states that the construction of the mosque lasted for a very long time. Still the "clock tower" with no clock stoods there vibrantly in the hill, overseeing the magnificient scenery of the villages downhill. This mosque, was a sacred place for prayers and other religious activities, which attracts probably the most muslims during Hari Raya Puasa. I took some landscape photos of the mosque before departing to the bus. When taking photos, one guy, which I thought he was someone who belonged to the mosque, asked me a question. He asked, "Where did you come from?" I replied not looking at him,"Singapore." rather rudely, I left very quickly. However, Mr Tieu and Cikgu Faizal walked a step further and went to explore the whole of the mosque. Cikgu Faizal went into the mosque while Mr Tieu went around the mosque exploring for new things.
Jeffery, the tour guide, after departing the mosque, talked about the cheapest zoo in Johor anyone can find. When he compared the prices with the Singapore Zoological Gardens and this, we found that the price is extremely expansive. The tour guide mentioned that the entrance fee is RM5 when entering the Johor zoo. This Johor zoo was built by the Sultan because he loved animals. Therefore, he built a zoo at the end of his compound. Before proceeding to Danga bay, the tour guide mentioned that it was like "the east coast park" in Singapore". Then, speaking about the faboulous things about the Danga Bay.
However, there were no cars parking at the parking compound and the place inside was deserted. Although PappaRoti opened its franchised shop there, business was good only when several of the "tourists" bought bread from that shop. Overall, the place was still deserted and there were very little people. What's more, the shutters of most shops in the Danga Bay were closed. On top of that, the "West Coast Park Shopping Mall" of Johor, Malaysia, which was two storeys was deserted. Shops selling beverages and food is countable, telling us that there is a limited choice of food.
Mr Tieu and I walked ahead with our hungry stomachs and urging to fill it as soon as possible. Upon seeing the "extraordinary" place, we knew that the place was empty. Without much hope, we toured round the place but found nothing. Until Mr Tieu began criticising the tour guide for his lousy plan of itinery. Finding him strolling at the back, we quickly approach him to guide us to a "Marybrown" stall.
Since it was the Ramadan festival, Cikgu Faizal could not devour any food. However, I don't feel this a pity as it was their religion, and they had to abide with the rules.
Sponsored, we need not need to pay for any food. Hungry stomachs were waiting outside under the sweltering hot sun waiting for food until someone informed us that there was a cooler place for a meal. Looking towards the comfort of the air-conditioned place within the Danga bay compound, all of us hurried to the cooling and refreshing but "peopleless" place to eat. We enjoyed the comfort and waited patiently for the intriguing food to arrive.

We chatted about the trip and many things under the sky while waiting for the food to arrive. The drinks came first, followed by the fries. Then the chicken wings where each person is allowed to have two pieces. Looking back, the trip was overall successful somehow. But the events later from that point, I hoped, should be better.
We got extra fries because other groups do not want them. Mr Tieu ordered the Marybrown's rice. I wondered it tastes delicious.
Filling our empty stomach with food and drinks, Kenneth and I walked around the shopping mall, attempting to find a washroom. Walking after some time, we came across several boys who were in a VCD shop, trying to purchase some VCD. They knew it was pirated, and smuggling into Singapore would be a heavy offense. Luckily, they did not buy those VCD's.
We went on for a hunt on the toilets. Little did we know that the washroom were outside the shopping complex after asking one of the "friendly" stall owners.
Walking on the outside of the complex, we went into a convinience stall like a 7-11 stall in Singapore. I bought some sweets. Kenneth too. However, he dropped some boxes of sweets, which we had to pick it up. Altogether, both our sweets cost less than RM3, probably a reasonable price.
We strolled back to the bus. Being the first two on the bus, we counted the seating capacity of the Desaru GOLF and country resort bus we boarded. I forgotten the figures but it was roughly the size of a regular coach. Fancy storing 21 of us in such a gigantic bus?
The bus left when everyone was seated on their seats. Kenneth and I sat together. The tour guide started talking about the green flag which flew right above the pole. The significance of the flag represents the Sultan of the state of Johor was present in Johor. When the flag was up, he was in Johor. When the flag was down, he is out of Johor. We were lucky enough, on that day, to witness the flag soaring in the sky. We proceeded to the batik shop not far away.
I was not really interested about the speech after lunch. This was because my stomach has already absorbed the maximum amount of matter, where, in this case, knowledge is matter. Furthermore, batik is not my profession, and I don't really like art. For some other people, things that they had not heard of, or things that they are not in profession of, they will listen and ask as much questions as possible. The lack of interest in me only know that there is three ways to manufacture batik. However, I forgotten one of them. The first one was hand-drawn, the second one was using machine and the last one...(waiting for someone to answer). If you know the answer, just type it in the comments, no prizes will be awarded.
The batik shop, was directly opposite Danga Bay. I heard the shopkeeper emphasising that there is no two hand-drawn batik cloth exactly the same. After that, questions sprung out by some of the seniors. What if the designer made an error while drawing? What if this? What if that? Hey, this is the first school trip I have gone "OVERSEAS"(or gone over the causeway). I have never seen such wonderful designs.
We went into the fan-conditioned room. Then, we were entertained by a group of "musicians" who played some music like "Rasa Sayang" on their wood musical instruments. I taken one photo, but due to the lighting conditions and the wobbliness of my arms, the picture was blurred. I just missed that opportunity. LOL. The music was magical and magnificient. Using such musical intruments, making such magical music was amazing, especially the musical instruments were made by themselves. After the music, we crowded the stage. The performers told us that they mastered using these musical instruments for more than 6 years. Roughly about 20 over years, the few performers must have started playing these musical instruments from 12 years old. I felt that the batik shop has earned some money through the performance from the box of money displayed in the front with some money. However, you may ask the same question I asked. What does the musical got to do with the batik shop?
Someone told me that it was traditional things that the batik shop is trying to bring out. For whatever the reason, since the performance was tremendously wonderful, there is no need for finding out, I guess. Lastly, before we departed from the batik shop, we went to the sovenior shop. Some things found there could be found in Singapore. One example is the sepak takraw which can be found in Kampong Glam. Another was the brown wood frog which you scratch it with a piece of small wood to make a frog croaking sound. However, most things there were expansive, which made me refuse to buy anything from there. I wondered why Mr Tieu bought one box of biscuits even though it was rather expansive. However, the biscuits, Mr Tieu invited us to eat, was delicious and sweet. This changed my mind and I donated some money for the performance.
Last three destinations. The tour guide began to speak about the Johor Laksa which was located on one of the streets somewhere in the central of Johor. He mentioned that many Singaporean cars liked to go there and claimed that it was the best Johor laksa in Johor state. The next destination we are going seemed like it was cancelled due to some problems there. I don't really understand what was going on. But never mind, I dont really like walking again after a short break on the bus. Then we proceeded to the Ramadan Bazaar and shopped there. It was near the place we went to Desaru on June.
Now, going there with my friends was a little different. However, this difference is similar in such a way that there is presence of heat. The heat was broiling. After getting down the bus, we were instructed to go in groups getting to know the place well and shop. Actually, this was the best place to buy pirated VCDs. This place is well known of that and very little stallholders were caught doing it. Hehe. I do not want to relate the negative aspects of one senior who did some negative things there through this blog. I've been there. And everything was the same. It is the market place all the way walking straight from the main carpark and there is a supermarket towards the direction of the west. You could easily find household needs conviniently.
We assembled at the carpark at 4pm for the mini-game. It was a quiz where we need to get all the questions right by 1) asking stallholders about the food sold at the ramadan bazaar and the market. 2) navigate yourself accordingly. Questions are in Malay. I could barely understand. Kenneth and I formed a group with some other seniors.
We went around the whole bazzar rounds and rounds, asking the same people questions and around some of the places we explored just now. It was already 4.45pm and we could only managed to answer 7/10 questions. Desperate, we knew we could not give up. So, we tried harder. Until then, someone looked for us and told us to go stop and go back to the MacDonalds(where the teachers are waiting) and submit the answers. In the bus, Cikgu Faizal announced that the last team who arrived(that was us) was the winner. And the prize was RM5 shared among four of us, which meant that each person could get RM1.25. I don't think I deserved it. This was because I feel that it was a drag for me to be in that group as I did not contribute anything but walking. Our final destination was Tebrau City and it was already 5.30 pm. The sun was going to set and all of us were hungry.
Tebrau City was the shopping mall we went to during the June Holidays on a return trip from Desaru. It was the place where Jusco was. My family and I went there. However, we went to the carpark only. This was because we were too exhausted after a day's trip and sleepy as I did got a too comfortable bed in Desaru. Having went there once for about 1 minute, we exit and went for dinner.
But this time was completely different. This time, we actually alighted at the carpark and went into the shopping centre. This time, we actually got to see the magics inside the building. This time, we actually got to eat, got to play and got to shop around the shopping mall. This place, on Saturday's and Sunday's usually attract many Singaporean. Maybe the reason was because places in Singapore are very common and they had shopped there for a very long period of time and got bored of it.
We searched for food. That was the first instinct on my mind. I was terribly hungry by then. I ordered one Yang Zhou Fried Rice. It was not very splendid, I felt. But it is eadible. Tebrau City, was large. I can't believe shopping there within a one hour limit. After eating, Kenneth and I went to the arcade nearby to play. It was the arcade which I spent RM10.
I thought at everything in the arcade was functioning properly. I was wrong. The arcade had limited number of games to play. However, the only one that attracted me was the table-disc or something. (Where you had to hold a hard rubber equipment, defending and attacking your goal and your opponent's goal respectively, with a disc that is always moving around on the table. It is usually found in most arcades and Science Center in Singapore). We tied the first round. And I lost subsequent rounds after inserting four coins into the machine. After that, we played unlimited number of times. Each round, the score is displayed on the screen above. Then, when I thought that we needed to go out, I was wrong. There is still 15 minutes before we needed to gather at the bus. I was damned Kiasu. If not, we could play another few more games. On the last match, I won. In the end, we played five games after inserting four coins. The intense game made me perspire under an air-conditioned environment. It was strange as I did not know what to do the last 15 minutes. I made that stupid mistake. Crap!
6.30 was here. We boarded the bus. It was scheduled 10.00 when we will arrive in HCI. We breezed through the checkpoints and I got to know more about Kenneth. A day of joyness and crappyness was all displayed in a day. It was a day I was exhausted, but not really very exhausted. By the time I reached school, it was 8.30pm. My mother offered a ride for Kenneth because his apartment was in Bukit Gombak. It was 9.00pm when I reached home.
The next day was Festival Of Sports. I do not want to touch deeply about that. We lost 3 goals to 0 when the rivals were from the proed consortium. And we won 2 goals to 0 when we are challenging the Ortus consortium. However, due to the fact that the haze shot to over 100 on the second day of the FOS, we did not manage to challenge the I-spark pupils. Instead, we got home early after some events lined up for us. Proed was the overall champion. Which I think, followed by Aphelion.
Then it was Sunday's and Saturdays. Monday was Consortium day where we had the mini aphelion concert for the graduating Sec 4 classes. The miniconcert was rushy and had impromtu performance. I was at the control room, slacking.
Tuesday was Hari Raya. Wednesday was Sec 1 aphelion day. I do not want to touch so deeply about that. It was a day where we watched Spirit, Stallion of the Cimarron for the movie screening. Although this show was motivating, the rest was not. The games provided by the council are not up to standard and had many copied from various sources. In the end, I think our class got the 9 from the 14 classes.
Thursday was worrying day as we got back our report books. I only can say that in the morning, we were amazed by the grand finals and finals projects which entered the project competition from our seniors. Aiya, everything seems to rock, but my concentration span was limited. And the sheer coldness in the Drama Center made me unable to understand what they were saying. Shivers...
Friday was Deepavali in Lieu. Then it was the weekends. And monday tuesday was staying at home. The holidays have begun. Lastly, it was the Media Tech "course training" which looked more like a camp. It is organised. But not going accordingly. Soccer was played on 2 days, instead of one in the plan. Haiz, I feel that the word "dismissed" is still a strong word for the seniors to say. But through this Media Tech course training, it was still better than the activities in the sec one camp, but not well organised.

Singapore's Largest Hub

Be sure to visit THE NEWEST hub in Singapore. Just opened on 7/10/2006, Vivo City is the largest shopping hub in Singapore. You will never complete walking into shops after shops in just one day. Examining each product sold there is another demanding but challenging task to complete. However, walking into it would allow you to feel extremely "HIGH".
Today, developing this entry, is the first experience in the 8 day opened hub, and 254++ tenents(of course some still renovating). Haha, you would feel extremely tired after walking for the whole day. If you want to find out more, go to http://www.vivocity.com.sg/ find out yourself. The hub is extremely large, the largest, as I said, in Singapore.
Vivo City, As I wondered, came from which other word that gave them this cute little inspiration to create this word, Vivo City. after examination, the special word was "vivacity" which means "A vivacious person, especially a woman or girl, is attractively energetic and enthusiastic". Haha. Connected to the future Integrated Resort, the Past World Trade Center, the present Harbourfront, and the after renovated Seah Im food Centre, vivo City lies at the southern tip of mainland Singapore. The hub, attracted thousands of people flocking there today. I just wished that there were only 200 people in the hub at one time, and I will be the lucky one enjoying everything. The business there were thriving like mad, and the 4000 carpark lots multi-storey carpark was probably full. The hundreds of shops had thousands of people flocking at once. Vivo City, a entertainment hub at every level, will probably drive you crazy by the pamaronic beauty of its arcitecture and the building's extraordinary design. Furthermore, the outdoor sky park was an ideal place for new couples to witness the beauty of the forested island of Sentosa, the biggest cruises in singapore, the cranes and machinery on the west, when facing Sentosa. Feeling the breezes would allow kids feel great pleasure after waddling in the "murky" sandy artistic design of pool. Teenage addicted to games could go to the EZONE at the roof of the entertainment hub. Food and beverages are everywhere no matter where you are. However, what you have to suffer is the long standing queues in the air-conditioned ground.
Travelling there is the most convinient task as you may hail a cab there, you can board MRT or buses there, you can walk there. DUH. But please please, avoid taking private transport there, because the traffic condition would paralyse you very badly. The combined supermarket there, known as the Vivomart, consists of Cold Storage, Giant and some other stalls. Giant Hypermarket is really hyper or mega ^ 2, 2 or 3 storeys high.
The only two disadvantages are you may not be able to find the things you want (like carpark lots, clothes, products), and squezzing through crowds and loads of people. People do not really like crowds should avoid Saturday's and Sundays as there would be lots of people. They are advised to go there on working days or in the mornings. It would be miracle for crowds to die down significantly in weekends.
Haha, after said much, I would also like to advise you to go there with your friends or family. This is because you will only feel the entertainment and fun there. Haha, now, after saying so much, the only thing you need to do is to explore and excavate for new stuffs in Vivo City. Vivo City is an ideal place for everything, and it is comparable to Mid Valley City in KL.

Furthermore, the outdoor sky park was an ideal place for new couples to witness the beauty of the forested island of Sentosa, the biggest cruises in singapore, the cranes and machinery on the west, when facing Sentosa. Feeling the breezes would allow kids feel great pleasure after waddling in the "murky" sandy artistic design of pool. Teenage addicted to games could go to the EZONE at the roof of the entertainment hub. Food and beverages are everywhere no matter where you are. However, what you have to suffer is the long standing queues in the air-conditioned ground.
Travelling there is the most convinient task as you may hail a cab there, you can board MRT or buses there, you can walk there. DUH. But please please, avoid taking private transport there, because the traffic condition would paralyse you very badly. The combined supermarket there, known as the Vivomart, consists of Cold Storage, Giant and some other stalls. Giant Hypermarket is really hyper or mega ^ 2, 2 or 3 storeys high.
The only two disadvantages are you may not be able to find the things you want (like carpark lots, clothes, products), and squezzing through crowds and loads of people. People do not really like crowds should avoid Saturday's and Sundays as there would be lots of people. They are advised to go there on working days or in the mornings. It would be miracle for crowds to die down significantly in weekends.
Haha, after said much, I would also like to advise you to go there with your friends or family. This is because you will only feel the entertainment and fun there. Haha, now, after saying so much, the only thing you need to do is to explore and excavate for new stuffs in Vivo City. Vivo City is an ideal place for everything, and it is comparable to Mid Valley City in KL.

哈哈。在用华语莱西花纹的时候了。
今天,我看过的淡淡的。别人在外头与朋友们出去逛街,我则在家里打电脑。打电脑?奇怪吧。不使用收缴来打电脑,而是在电脑上打电玩,也可说完游戏吧。还在担心考试成绩的我,不知不觉地与大家过了2006年,10月,12日。听到Angela说考试成绩考不好时,心里有点难过,因为不完善的开始就是不完善的结果。不好的开始就等于不美的后果。但放开一面想的话,考不好又有怎么用?明年再考好,再接再厉。而不是应为一点儿的挫折而自暴自弃,愁眉苦脸,往开一面想,生活才会多姿多彩。
明日得拍小六DSA的照片。到现在,我还不知道是为了拍什么的,为什么要为学校拍这芝麻绿豆的事呢?可是,既然无所事事,不如拍一拍,消除整天困在家里的感觉。考试过后最想做的事情是。。。

可见,日子不是一定会好过的。日子久了, 你一定会感到很累。就像一间铺子,我们做是要墨守成规,不要吵腐朽的思想,要懂得更换与改进。我们应该学贯中西,要懂得应变;就如现在,以英语打字的我,现在引用新的科技,来打华文字。要是有什么差错,竟请原谅。
平时很不喜欢打华文字的我,不知不觉被华文的字体上瘾了。我看我不需要多收了,我们进入重点谈吧。

My computer kana virus liao lah. Dunno which site I went they attacked me. Now, everything in my computer is in a disastrous situation. There is nothing that can help my com. My home page becomes dunno what crap. Anyway, after being quarintined for the past 3 weeks, the clouds are cleared and there comes the haze.
From the project's day till now, just right after the exams, there are inspirational moments. Haha. Adrain kept telling me that he was "EXEMPTED FROM EXEMPTIONS", so what? I was too wad. Now, the situation in Singapore is HAZY!!!! But Nicholas yeo dont even know what the cause of the haze was. He mentioned that the cause of the haze was due to the unsuitable weather where no rain poured for weeks. HAHa. So lame. Now that dad is not in singapore, nobody is going to fix my computer, nobody is going to erase all the virus from the computer.
Zi Song, Li Chung, Jing Wei, Nicholas Kee...Aiya, almost everybody were exempted here and there. With a mean grade of 75 is definitely not enough. You will need to get at least 80 to be exempted from a particular subject. See, all media tech guys. They are so pro. Benjamin chin, he was exempted from Chinese. And what even worst was, someone from 1A was exempted from all subjects. GUESS WHO?>
None other than the brilliant Ying Cong. He was definitely pro-er than me lah. DUH> Wonder where on Earth is he now. Maybe he has gone overseas for attachment. I was the only slacker for the 3 terms. haha. You will never know who will improve or deprove next year. Tengku Abdul Rahman was Tengku Hussien's brother, the Sultan of Singapore in 1819...And Tunku Abdul Rahman was the man who merged Singapore, Malaya, Sabah and Sarawak together. Hmm...Look at that, the spelling, you fool! Dont mix up hor.
The muggers had nothing to do but to mug. Ian was only mugging for 3 languages. The rest of the subjects he was exempted. When he talked to me yesterday, the tone was restless and slow. It was definitely the first time I saw him using a lot of short forms on MSN. 亏他在日常生活里,写的字很美。总而言之,Kristen ITC 的字体适合我们天天采用。How do I type it? AHAH, It was a new discovery made by me before the exams. using microsoft IME 5.0...(or something).

This week, is misery week...Still mugging mugging under pile of worksheets to be commited into my brain.
But, out of dismay, I still played. PLAYED And played....I knew my Chinese test will fail if I dont remember. There is the dunno wad 词语练习问答题(1), 理解问答(2), AND 成语练习(3). Tell you what, (1) got 180 words to memorise, (2) got 4 passages to understand, (3) got 80 to memorse and understand. Haiz...+++++English leh?+++++ My english sux like hell. I dont think it is possible to improve....
The best BLOCKBUSTER, LOST 2, appears to screeen it's last episode in Singapore next tuesday.... Haha,,,,Just found out. THERE MAY BE LOST 3!!@@!#!@#
I feel like I'm going to buy the dvd if they sell in Singapore...hehe...

This week I am just so busy with studying. Haiz...
STUDY STUDY STUDY. What's the point of studying? Get good grades, better msg, excel in exams, achieve your ambition, be successful? No!
That's not the point right?
Mum and Dad said they wanted to go out of home for holidays. Where got time? Everybody are pinging, I where got time to slack. My MSG above 2 liao. So high. And my position in class becomes lousier. IAN TAN SHENG FENG got top 10 and his OP points for science I think full liaoz.
With Shi-Jie and Ian and Zhao Hong, Shien Yang, Han Loong, Foong Wai, in the top 10, how to get top 10?
EP3 and other project is coming now.
Shi-Jie wanted to participate in the SMPF. I want too, but afraid I have no time. Hmm...I think December Holidays must do...
He said he wanted Chern Yuan to participate too, hmm...So many math PROs, with Eng Keat, how....?

What kinda VP is that, who overshadowed the Principal. I knew the principal was so damn great, at least better than the Vice Principal.
After the celebrations in HCI, the water pours from the whole sky under the Bukit timah area. And this probably affected the whole bus system around singapore. Reason is because: I saw a total of 5 buses of 74, 3 buses of 151, 4 buses of off-service, 3 buses of 170, 3 buses of 961, 2 buses of 156, 2 bus of 67, 1 bus of 154 and I think there were many others....
The 15 minute I waited was long enough....for a meal...
Before a 66 arrives in our stop.
Guess what I did after boarding that bus,
173 came 10 minutes later....Waited and waited...2 off service bus passed by...
I wonder why? Is it because of the wet weather so there is a need for more buses? Or is it because of teachers day where the buses I take do not want to arrive quickly.
One more example: The 77 I want to take home took me ten minutes waiting time. For this, I can type a 500 words essay. Haha, think again, you think rainy weather is so fun? Think again? No buses want to stop at our stop, causing a congestion....

and We went back....And saw many many people streaming in, group by group OR BUS BY BUS. and think how long we needed to wait? Ans: 45 minutes more...Before the Vice principal came out...I was relatively patient STILL AT THIS POINT OF TIME. But not towards the security guards.

AStronomy sabbaticals....Hmm...Compare with Say it like it is in term 2...see which 1 better.
Of course Introduction to astronomy won without saying much. Because they had more. Haha....The first day, they talked about the speed of light, relativity and the history of astronomy. But on the second day, it became more interesting when they showed us lots of pictures on the planets and many other objects in the sky. They also showed us the pictures that features daily on this website...http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/archivepix.html. Those pictures are real great, especially getting better over the years. Next day, it is the powerpoints about stellar classification and the astrophysics. That day was quite bland. And I skipped the talk by a professor which was supposed to be in the english LRC. haha, What did I do, Media tech duty lah. I watched the match between NY and Le4 Qing1 Zhong1 Xue2 from china, and guess who won, Not Nanyang Girls high lah. They sux in talking and debating lor. 4th day, a little different, as the seniors...Ying Jie, Yam Hou, Ming Wei...Are talking about the constellations...What's great about constellations, I thought. but that completely changed my mind, when it was the last day. We had tests....blah blah blah. And we won...(of course, I will elaborate) and go to SCIENCE CENTER OBSERVATORY....
There, the photo is the position of Jupiter and the 4 moons I see. Namely, Io, Ganymede, Europa and Callisto. Lol, all my favourite moons.
Wednesday, 1B won 1A in soccer EOTA with a difference of 6 goals. I came 20 minutes late and could see the remaining 15 min...Sad :( But nevertheless, we won 8-2. Haha, proceeding to the Monday match versus 1D who won 1C 6-2. Hahaz...Hope still 1B win. but the debate competition, HCI won...OLE OLE OLE....Haha, 2 great news at 1 time.
Astro, on the first day was nothing. It is just planets and stars. Nothing much. Furthermore, I thought astro is 死板板, nothing really much. But that changed my mind really. Hey, now before I start, Let me introduce a song, "STARS are blind" by Paris Hilton.
Astrophysics, wah....Really lame. What gravitational slingshot, what Kepler's law, what Newton's 3 law of motion, history of astronomy, eccentricity blah blah. Which do you think a noob like me know about the relations of these subjects towards astronomy. I dont even understand a single crap that day. But, they are somehow fun, Now I know little about gravitational slingshot, little about the history of astro, little here and there.
2nd day was exceptionally fun. The pictures of planets, WOW. really excellent loh. That day was undescribable. And was damned fun.
3rd day, I mentioned some just now. But here are more.We learnt some astrophysics and the stellar classification. WOW, such terms? I go mad that day. But...heh heh, stellar classification is the classification about astronomy. One example is to classify stars by it's magnitude. This means the brightness of the star. Another is the binary stars, which I dont know anything about it. haha.I almost fell asleep that day.
4th day. Constellations. Stars. the shapes of the lines. Haha, at least I know. And I identified 2 constellations of the 6 they told us to search from the group of stars over the total of 88 constellations. And the 7 sisters too. Where I found 6 stars of them only.
5th day...Haha, early in the morning, really sianzzzzzzzzzzz. Must revise for the minor competition. Haha. Dont win competition also never mind 1 lah. Nothing much. But, winning competition gets free prizes and I do not want to leave this sabbatical empty handed even after paying $5. And This sabbatical really rocks. The group competition, which inculdes me, Eng Keat, Hu Yuan, another people Hu Yuan knows, and another 17 year old China sec 3 guy I dunno, haha. Guess what, we smuggled reference books into the room. Yam Hou and Ying Jie were out of the room. Ming Wei used the computer and did not really looked at us....Haiz. Luckily we got those books, if not we will really screw up. We still did not know the score for that.
After the recess, another individual test. OF COURSE. NO reference, all because of Eng Keat lah, he dont allow. But the seniors are not watching loh. They were busy marking all the worksheets and test papers. And these questions were just MCQ and were really tough questions. Those questions, furthermore, those questions are know then answer, dunno either leave blank or answer incorrectly. Answer correctly, 5 marks, leave blank, 2 marks, incorrect, 0 marks. Maximum you can get is 150 marks cause there is 30 questions. Die hard questions. Cham...! How? Xiao liao...I only know 2 questions. After those hard core physics and memory recollection, the 30min time's up and we all proceed to see how ying Jie marked those papers.
Heh heh, guess what. Group 1: 39 Group 2: 45 Group 3: 54 Group 4: 35.5 Group 5: 17 upon 60 marks. They said that the paper was too easy for us, that's why we can score many marks. But I thought, the paper was really really hard. What calculations, aiya, all crap. But lucky we get the 3rd group, at least there is still chance to go into the next round. But we still need to buck up in the individual paper, where scores will be added up, and averaged, added to the group score. The best 3 teams get to the next round of intense competition.
The astrobiology is the best topic ever since. This was because of stupid theorized ways of the possible number of planets that contained life on other suns. Tell you what, the last law, the 7th law is the craziest. It is the law where you are the ultimate and can create more and more universe, becoming god. And you know that's impossible, unless god gave us that superpowers. Lol
During the last presentation Ying Jie presented, Both yam hou and ming wei were busy marking those individual papers, and when Ying Jie ended his presenattion, both the other 2 trainers were still marking. About to complete. The 2 trainers added up the score, I got 84/150 and Eng Keat got 104/150. Hu yuan got 70 something and the other 2 I not sure. One even failed in my team, getting as low as 45/150. Might as well leave all blanks. Then can get 60 markah. Anyway, our groups average is 74.something. A little close to the next team. But still managed to dive into the next round at the 3rd place. So grp 2, mi group, 3 and 4 went to the next round.HAHA
I brought camera that day, that's y I kept snapping the co-trainers photos. And guess what, the round 2. It freaks us more. Those not qualified into the next round are to sit at the back and watch the audience. Those who were at the front like me, qualified for the next round. Of course, group 3 was leading, group 4 was the 2nd, and we were the third. Haiz....But one good thing was, score was pounded to '0'. This means that we have to start all over again.

This means that boxes will appear 1 by 1 and you will have to guess the picture. In total, there are 9 boxes. And you have to guess correctly. No time limit to guess. Pictures can be of distorted colours, black and white and many other colours. And one more thing was, the scoring. The guess you made wrongly, -10 marks, one correct 20 marks. 2nd person to answer correctly, 10 marks only. If no one answers, question is null. And it is qiang3 da2 ti2, first come first serve questions. Hu Yuan answered most of the questions. Eng Keat answered the 2nd most. I screwed up. By not answering any. At the end, we got, in order, Group 2 3 4, 270 90 275 respectively, by 5 marks. Haha group 3, answered wrong questions. the last round was MCQ and Short structured questions. LOL. Questions are like the ones on the individual paper, quite difficult too. In the end, group 2 won, 375 195 340. Haha we won, thanks to Hu Yuan, he has vast knowledge about astro. Lol, we won group 3, when in the second round we lost them.
I requested for a group photo. Hahaz. And I wrote my name down for the intrerest of the possible future ambassodor of the astro club as probably my second EP3.
Astro at night was another thing. Because I got to seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee JUPITER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!with my own eyes. Of course. I just kept wondering how Pluto got demoted and why it got demoted after being demoted that night at 1am Singapore time. And at the observatory at science center(MUST GO THERE HOR, open only on Friday nights), it was Ming Wei's first time who looked through a telescope, and identifying constellations. I can;t see any constellation. Neither could Ming Wei, but Yam Hou saw many. I bet yam hou was lying. Aiya, look at the Jupiter I saw and the 4 moons I saw, all of the Jupiter is very nice. Pluto's demotion is all because of all the scientists that stinks. The astronomers that made Mickey mouse or the earth sad. Becasue it is no longer one of earth's neighbours and is called a DWARF planet. Not a nice name, duh. I was wondering, pluto, pluto where are you? And I tell you what, Jupiter and other planets are very very nice. Especially you can see the 4/16 layers of Jupiter. hahaz. From at home, you see it only occuring at a small dot. But at the observatory, it is dammed cool. Jupiter rocks like pluto. the 4 distinct moons you can see, unbeliavble. Io, Cassilto, Ganynede, Europa, my spelling sux. They rock like Jupiter. haha....
Ming Wei was so enthusiatic is finding the constellations, but he cant see the stars, mostly blame it on the lights in Singapore. The second picture I see was M6, a cluster of stars. Just some stars here and there, unvisible to naked eye. Nothing much actually. But it really was really cool too. First time seeing through a cassini telescope cool man.
Actually there can be 12 planets,
Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, CERES, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, CHARON, and 2003 UB313(known as Xena).
But in the end, the astronomers degraded Pluto too, calling CERES, PLUTO, CHARON and 2003UB313 a dwarf planet. haiz.
BB to pluto. My last day to spend with you didnt make long. The last day to spend before Pluto died was 24/08/2006 according to GMT +00 00.haiz. I just love Pluto, and media tech that day broke out loud when Mr Lee also exclaimed, "OH NO!"

And it is qiang3 da2 ti2, first come first serve questions. Hu Yuan answered most of the questions. Eng Keat answered the 2nd most. I screwed up. By not answering any. At the end, we got, in order, Group 2 3 4, 270 90 275 respectively, by 5 marks. Haha group 3, answered wrong questions. the last round was MCQ and Short structured questions. LOL. Questions are like the ones on the individual paper, quite difficult too. In the end, group 2 won, 375 195 340. Haha we won, thanks to Hu Yuan, he has vast knowledge about astro. Lol, we won group 3, when in the second round we lost them.
I requested for a group photo. Hahaz. And I wrote my name down for the intrerest of the possible future ambassodor of the astro club as probably my second EP3.
Astro at night was another thing. Because I got to seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee JUPITER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!with my own eyes. Of course. I just kept wondering how Pluto got demoted and why it got demoted after being demoted that night at 1am Singapore time. And at the observatory at science center(MUST GO THERE HOR, open only on Friday nights), it was Ming Wei's first time who looked through a telescope, and identifying constellations. I can;t see any constellation. Neither could Ming Wei, but Yam Hou saw many. I bet yam hou was lying. Aiya, look at the Jupiter I saw and the 4 moons I saw, all of the Jupiter is very nice. Pluto's demotion is all because of all the scientists that stinks. The astronomers that made Mickey mouse or the earth sad. Becasue it is no longer one of earth's neighbours and is called a DWARF planet. Not a nice name, duh. I was wondering, pluto, pluto where are you? And I tell you what, Jupiter and other planets are very very nice. Especially you can see the 4/16 layers of Jupiter. hahaz. From at home, you see it only occuring at a small dot. But at the observatory, it is dammed cool. Jupiter rocks like pluto. the 4 distinct moons you can see, unbeliavble. Io, Cassilto, Ganynede, Europa, my spelling sux. They rock like Jupiter. haha....
Ming Wei was so enthusiatic is finding the constellations, but he cant see the stars, mostly blame it on the lights in Singapore. The second picture I see was M6, a cluster of stars. Just some stars here and there, unvisible to naked eye. Nothing much actually. But it really was really cool too. First time seeing through a cassini telescope cool man.
Actually there can be 12 planets,
Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, CERES, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, CHARON, and 2003 UB313(known as Xena).
But in the end, the astronomers degraded Pluto too, calling CERES, PLUTO, CHARON and 2003UB313 a dwarf planet. haiz.
BB to pluto. My last day to spend with you didnt make long. The last day to spend before Pluto died was 24/08/2006 according to GMT +00 00.haiz. I just love Pluto, and media tech that day broke out loud when Mr Lee also exclaimed, "OH NO!"

1 thing: I can finally see the shape of my head. So roundish. Luckily no oh ba kok...(I mean the bump on your head....)
Today, during assembly, Tansc was very nice towards everyone. Although it is not his duty, I dont care about him anymore.....

Although I needa be the timekeeper, it is quite nice wad...Except you need to stay vigilant to the time only. And everyminute the time past means every minute the group have to talk lesss. Except the last group which was given 1 min xtra, which I dunno y? The rest are either on time, or before 10 min. 4 min QNA is terribly long.

Hwa Chong (10 golds) in 1 day

Forget about media tech, not even the Teo CC science trip on Sat. The talk was exclusively boring. Not an eloquent speaker, someone who always likes to draw diagrams. Teo CC admits the science centre chose the wrong speaker. And she claims that the talk the year before was better. With an enthusiatic speaker.
Mr Hon announced that the school won numeurous amount of gold medals within a day. All are elite sports which gave the school, including college, 10 gold medals. He had never won all of these in one day before, this was the day he secured all ten gold medals ever in HCI. Including the gymnastics(2 medals), air rifle(2 medals), track and field(3 medals), judo(3 medals). Especially when 2006 was a brilliant year when most the competitions are held on the same day. LOL//||l|l|l|l|l|l|l|l|l|
Judo was impressive, especially when there were many strong people. Haha. Only the 'A' division girls lose out. and all others won, 'C' boys, 'B' boys and 'A' boys, we got champions.Held at Yio Chu Kang stadium. Our class didnt supported them because we went to Chua chu Kang Stadium to support track and field.
Air rifle got champs too. But I dont now exactly the details of the air rifle because I dont know that there was an air rifle competition going on.
Gymnastics was held in Bishan stadium. LOL gym. Flexible bodies. But they were impressive duh.
Track and field. Haha .I was there not on duty but to snap pictures. LOL. They clinched 3 golds, 'a'boys 'b' boys and 'c' boys. LOL. No 'A' girls but they did impressively. Some of my photos were good. Others lol, *most of them* they sucks. Becasue i zoomed in too much. And Sze Chuen, that......., did not want to tell me where Li Chung is. But li chung went into the hall, I was relieved. LOL. The atheletes didnt perform well that day, but performed terribly well the previous days. SSS(singapore sports school) came in second for most of the catergories in boys. This proved that our people who were equal in volume with them at the heats have better results. I knew it all along that Hwa Chong will win a gold, unless some bad omen haunts us. Lucky it doesnt.

So happy today especially Mr Hon let us come home early at 11.20am. A day that the school won 10 medals. A day that the school proved itself better again and again.
I am so happy, although I am not the winner.

Project's day semi finals

Thought I wouldnt get in 1. But something crazy made truth really true.
I thought of being eliminated this round in Projects day. after hearing from Mr Lee, we need math theory and algorithm in our project. However, I seem to not have them, having these complex puzzles. I feel that it isn;t easy to create one of high standards. However, we wanted to proof we are not rots or anything as said by some people during the preliminary round. We were the first to present and the longest to wait before everything ends. I thought we wouldnt make it to the next round, we wouldn't....but it became true.
The QNA session was really really bad. And we almost overexceed our time. However, we tried and managed to answer all of the questions they prompt us. When they said whether you asked your mentor to complete the puzzle, I said no. But I knew I present Mr Lee sumsearch and he tried to complete the puzzle. Haiz, made one silent error.LOL too. The first time.
Ever since the presentation of our project, I began to feel so depressed. Because I saw so many other people having better grades than me. Esp. when I just could not have the time or energy to complete the project. I just want to leave it to next year. So that I could spend more time for ACE. I sat over there, almost seeing those people getting into the next round. I dont wanna to. But Shi-Jie and Eng Keat did so, and I folo them.
When everything was over, it was over, and when I went home that day, after taking photos of the NEA ppl and attending a talk about cryptography, which i barely could understand, I feel that I would not get into finals anymore.
When I turned on the com at home, I got into the finals. Advantages and disadvantages all came.
Advantage: More ACE points, honourable mention award
Disadvantage: Spend more time on project, more time on computer, less time to study, less time for other ACE activities.
LOL. Wish I got pissed off this round.

NYGH food and funfair

It is a week before time. Should be on July 1's blog.
The morning was sian. It was a Saturday when I need to return to school to rehearse for racial harmony. Just the beginning of the day only. The beginning of the script. Went back to school at early 8am. Waited outside LT3 for Cikgu Faizal. First, I met Zi Song pathway towards the school near where i normally alight. He was wandering around, the first one to arrive. I was 2nd. Then soon, more people waited outside LT3. However, before even Cikgu Faizal arrived, I smelled a fish already. The staff room was empty, the shutters to the 2nd 3rd 4th floor of the school was down and locked. We could not get everything alright. Cikgu faizal first told us the story of abang tuah, who appeared as a story during the 14th 15th century.Because of the fact we could not find a proper place to rehearse, we moved to LT3, he he. not locked. We occupied the place for 5 min. Until Miss Laura Ng went to tell us she had prebooked that place. Then we leave lor.
Praticing outside of an unaircoditioned place was unbearable. Barely could I memorise those words under the heat. When finally we finally rehearsed the final time, Wah. The debrief was so aukward. It seems like Cikgu Faizal did not know what to say. But just a thank you.
Then we went to NYGH. I didnt know that there was a funfair there. My first time going there in 2006. Excited, enthusiatic, no lah. That school is so normal, except it is a girls school. I entered the gates, with so many people. boys and girls. Lucky we were not the only ones.
Entering the gates, floor, walls, celings everywhere filled with decorations, posters, symbols telling everyone where to go. The last time I went there was 2002, during a choir competition. Then, I know that nanyang girls were more enthusiastic than Hwa chong ppl. Directing the people where to go, to their booths they set up.
Lol, with so many colours loh.
I was hoping to see people like Nicole, Chun En, and other ppl. But I only saw Jia Li in the hall promoting some things. I was actually wondering how much time they set up those things, should b so successful.Walking from the track to the hall, then to the courtyard, there were so many people, under the hot sun. Of course with tents and fans, but it is still warm. Teachers and students, "lucky draw" blah blah. shouting. We walked a round to the concourse, and then saw people playing, but we didnt play.Then we saw Clarence the sec 4 senior who was walking around. And hi 5 at me. I doubt the food there is eatible. With flying suddenly flying around, step, step and step, fly off, and then fly away. Especially the french fries stall. we walked into the buildings, the classroom, so small. We went to the 2nd floor, saw people dancing, all this all that, then walked towards the hall. When Zi song, who was with me, saw his fren, angie, he exclaimed that de tupperware they were selling were too ex. and walked around the hall after that. Then I saw Jia Li. said hi and left. Zi Song walked back. And I dragged him away because I had something on, and have many things havent see yet. therefore, he followed me loh.
When I walked down the steps, I saw the unbelieveable truth that people could be careless. A painting luckily with a glass on the table was broken, leaving a note, please contact who....Very sorry blah blah. But it was quite courteous, for it becasue they did not run away after the breaking of the painting. I also saw nanyang had quite a number of paintings, great to exclaim. Most of them are perspective masterpieces.
Hmm....from 10.30 to about 11.15 we spent the time in Nanyang, I brought back nothing, knowing that the things sold were expensive.

BSP "special thing"

BSP conference is something I dunno. when it was on wed, Lincoln told me that it was not a special occasion, but to the Bsp ppl it was a grand occasion.LOL. To me, not a grand occasion. Anyway, really, it was not a grand occasion. I went to the Audi but everyone was not there, they are all in the Drama Centre. Wah, so many ppl. But this event is quite successful also. Some ppl took to the stage and present what they have during the trip to China the year before. Then I took and took until the tea break, when I went to take some photos using the Fugifilm camera but alll pictures were blur. This is because the setting were not set correctly. One button wrong, that's it, your day is gone. I went back to DC and ask Cheng Aik if my camera is correct. Umm....Then I went to take somefood. The BSP people did not want to recognise me or something. Always detest me...I went back brought the SLR and took photos of other places(LT2 andLT3.) Lt2 was the best because there were QNA session. The excitement was high there. I took better photos.
Then we went back home after that.
BSP conference is something I dunno. when it was on wed, Lincoln told me that it was not a special occasion, but to the Bsp ppl it was a grand occasion.LOL. To me, not a grand occasion. Anyway, really, it was not a grand occasion. I went to the Audi but everyone was not there, they are all in the Drama Centre. Wah, so many ppl. last days of sCHOOL HOlidays+ first day

Wah very long time didnt blog le. Nowadays term 3 is a very busy term, I have experience it because the fever is coming. Project's Day is near. Next Tuesday. HAIZ
Topic today in this blog is the photo taking of band+waterpolo. Actually water polo only lah. This is bcoz of the band ppl, not in school. Dad's on leave that day, therefore, he sent me to school . I saw lincoln in the busstop in front of Yu Li Yuan, the very old condo. Anyway, he was a second later than me when I reach the general office. We set up camera, went to Video editing room(the last truthful onwer was Zi Yi, He occupied the room years before, now that room was nobody. ) and went to the band room. But the people there were watching TV. The dunno what genie show that replayed so many times. Haiz. So secretive. Doors and windows covered with newspaper. Then everyone hiding on one corner. Mrs Chan also not there, went to the staff room also not there. I think She, the band tr, went to the boarding school already.
We decided not to find her anymore, even if we had her contact, she may not be able to answer. Nvm about al these last min crapl, then Lincoln went to talk to one of the teachers and I followed. Lincoln talked about Hu Yuan, the teacher complained Hu Yuan being irresponsible because he went to China during hols. Lincoln argued that he did everything efficiently but because of the last min changes, everything that was planned before the hols were no okay. Then Sze Chuen came when I was talking to the teacher. He even called.
We went to the editing room after that and stared in the space until 2 pm. When the water polo guys are supposed to take photos. When I took the photos, Lincoln commented that I have the advantage becuase I have the somekind telephono-the thing that could zoom further. Sze Chuen have the skill but do not have the zooming thing. WHy I always forget that zoom thing is what?
Then we went to the swimming pool. The water polo guys were training there. We took some action shots before taking their group photos.
When we uploaded photos I saw that my photos were blur and not good. People were distracted. Anyway, haiz. Just I wish to have the skills. Now what I want is to break free from the busy schedule...Hols end just end 2 days later.
I went to Johor the day after, on Sat, after the photo taking day. Not really fun. I went to the Jusco near the university. Then eat at the nearby coffee shop( food quite nice). Oh ya, what I found out that in malaysia and Singapore is "i shall keep it to myself." Then went tothe airport. The airport seemed to change completely from the end of last year. The airport was quite new. To my sense.Then we went to the barber. A hairdresser shop with massage palour. Haiz. This type of thing could be seen in both Singapore and Malaysia. Now singaproe must dunno what register with the government or something, I doubt Malaysia imply these laws. Then went back to Singapore. Traffic was smooth at the causeway it was about 5.30pm.
School reopens is not very fun. Alanson asked me in the morning" do you who wins last night's matches." I went to sleep very early. Therefore I dunno. It was the match between Eucador and England, and Portugal and Netherlands. Por and Eng won 1-0 into the next round. Especially when I just want to sleep during the first lesson, where Mr Jeffery Lim is not teaching. The second lesson was not really fun too. It was chinese. Then it was Assembly. PCME session was the dreadiest. The Aiya....so awkward. Then, I waited and waited...until 3.30pm then go home.

cont'd desaru trip

We missed a turn when we were very near Desaru, about 5 km away. Having seen two way streets, rubber plantations, cars, some 1 floor buildings, we finally saw the first petronas gas station having driving for so long. But our petrol in our car is more than enough to travel to and fro, therefore, we gave a miss to that petrol staton and advanced further. Then...we FINALLY missed the first turn towards Desaru and we needed to find a U-turn. Travelling 1.5km on the wrong route, we finally found a turn. However, what shocked us is that that road has is divided by a hedge, impossible for us to turn. We travelled 250m then we found a u turn sign. Sigh....Wasted 3.5 km of petrol.......Sad Case
Before we made a wrong move, I always wonder, WHO MADE THESE ROADS? i was so proud of that. Marvellously, no trees, under the sun, hot blazing heat, making that 41km route. Pei fu....really must Pei fu! No idea also how long they take to build this "highway".... Geng4 he2 kuang4 the NS highway to KL....
Travelling does not end....We went in further, saw the sight of a fruit farm. We didn't went in. Then, we went further, saw a gate to Desaru, a fire burned a patch of trees on the right. on the left, you will see a castle like resort.You go in further, there is a hotel with security guards, crowded with singaporean cars, then a chalet, then a deserted hotel, then another hotel which we stay, then a golf club.
I WARN: " CAUTION, GOLFERS CROSSING!"
THen it is dead end. U turn and go back, choose a hotel. YOU want the cheapest????? To me, I am not quite sure.... The first hotel, the castle like hotel, we didnt went in. We checked the price for 3 hotels, the chalet, the hotel we stay, and the crowded hotel...And we found that the hotel we stay offers the best facilities. It has swimming pool, beach, restaurants, bicycle, blah blah blah, and is cheap. The crowded hotel has no rooms for us to stay,and is 2 times as expensive but more and better facilities are available.The Deserted hotel, no need to say. There is nothing over there. THE CHALET....When we went there, I saw a bunch of enthusiatic Singaporeans, from NTU, leaving in those chalets. About 50-70 of them.
YA LAH.....Let me tell you the hotel names lah.... THE CASTLE hotel, the first hotel is the Sebana Cove & Marina Resort. The second hotel is the The Pulai Desaru Beach, the more expensive one. The third resort, the chalet is the Desaru Holiday Chalet. The only chalet in the entire Desaru. Then, you will see the deserted hotel which is temperory closed, that is the LaCemara Desaru Resort Condo. Then, the hotel we stay, the Desaru Golden Beach Hotel. Finally, it is the golf club, the Desaru Golf & Country Club. Interesting huh?! These info may be wrong. If you do not trust, check it out at http://www.desaru.com.my/.
There are many other things we didnt see at Desaru, like the ostrich farm and the pony We were around the chalet the whole of 2 day 1 night, we didnt went anywhere. it was 5pm when we reached there. Tired and smelly. My family and I had a quarrel of choosing a hotel. The fully booked hotel was out of our choice and we were left to the chalet and the hotel we stayed. I lost the match by 1:3 when I chose the Chalet. Although it is $40 more expensive, quite alright rite? the Facilities are not really good, But is that a prob? Desaru is a beach. Stay in the beach can already. Anyway....When we reached there, we found out that the $40 cheaper room was booked by someone. And there is only a $40 more expensive than the chalet room. HAIX>>>>Dao3 mei2....
We arranged to put our things back into the chalet and quickly go to the beach and walked to eat dinner at a seafood restaurant in the resort. WHAT DO YOU SEE>!? The food we ordered are kuey tiao mee, kangkong belacan, kampong chicken, and chilli crab. It seems delicious, the menu has no pictures. And the prices are scary. The amount of food is even scarier. I bet those food doesnt cost so much lah. they are trying to earn more then what they earn. Only those stupid ones like us eat that restaurant. Plus, the food sold are not as delicious.
Then we went back to the room and watch the final episode of Wei4 si1 li3. The 2 finally patch up and the story was fake of course but it sounded so real. nvm....Nothing much to see that night, we continue watching until 9.30pm....then we sleep. The shower was a little spoilt in room 656, the room we stayed in. I continued to read my xi1 you2 ji4 until it was late. That night, I tried to sleep, but cannot. The cold heat and the bed made me so uncomfortable. I really missed my bed in Singapore.
The second day...I wanted to watch sunrise, but aiya, went to sleep again. Then, it was 6.50....we went to the beach, taking pictures of the sun and walk along the beach. The beach was quite nice for the small river suddenly in the middle of the beach. Some early birds also accompanyed us walk on the beach. Then, we returned back with sandy feet. The sea was a splendid scene, the best object to touch in the midddle of the morning.
Left with half a day before checkout. We ate breakfast. Tell you what about the breakfast buffet. There are flies, and the food is good but less in variety. there is roti prata, egg, nasi lemak, porridge, mi2 fen3, cornflakes, fruit juice and fruits, and dont forget toast....Quite full......then we went back to the room to take a morning shower. UNTIL 10am, I decided to cycle around the resort, and it was quite fun. Except that I hurt my thumbs and the skin peeled off. I hadnt cycle for at least 3 years....Paddling on the bicycle was quite fun....And the mosquitos keep stinging me..... Quite a sad case. The rent was an hour and I was deadly tired and sweating at the end of the cycle. You may think that it is lame to cycle alone in the resort, but it was really great fun paddling after 3 years.
Leaving the hotel at noon, we went to the souvenior shop immediately, I bought a pencil with a DESARU with a frog head.Then, we went to the fruit farm. There is nothing much there except that there is a lot of Singaporean cars....I also drank a juice I dunno what it is named. The juice can be found there at RM$2 for a medium size cup.
TIP: IF you find yourself lost on the roads, do not blame me, blame the ministry for not installing more road signs or trees that blocked the road signs.
Travelling back to the route we travelled yesterday, we went to Jusco...but changed our minds to careffour. Before we reach there, we needed to find a u-turn. It was a km away.... Then we went to smart shopping mart, which has lots of shops there. Careffour was big. AND MOST THINGS WERE MORE EXPENSIVE THAN SINGAPORE's stuff.When we went out of the shopping mart, we lost our way, almost back to where we came from. Luckily there is a Jusco shopping mart there, we went in. WHAT?! there is a need to PAY MONEY?!?!!?! We went in, collect a ticket from the counter, then find our way to the exit. It was raining heavily and all of us wanted dinner. LOL....Finally we managed to get our way out of the roads and we returned to Singapore, after dinner. What a scare that we lost our way.
Then BLAH BLAH BLAH, we went to eat the zhi bao ji restaurant, ordered a kangkong belacan, which is even cheaper and tastier. Haiz. Wasted so much money the day before. Next time da bao to Desaru and eat better.

Kota Tinggi to Desaru...

Desaru trip was fun, but somehow not fun. We went there on 17-6-06 and returned the day after.
It made the best impression I ever had in Johor Baru. Situated at the eastern coast of Johor Baru, Desaru is a famous place for Singaporeans to holiday, and the prestigious place for group gatherings. Coming within a family is not really fun. But going there with a group of families and friends may heat up the atmosphere there.
CAUTION: DO NOT DRIVE THERE ALONE AT NIGHT. IT HAS NEITHER STREET LIGHTS NOR MORE THAN 2 LANE ROADS.
We made that final decision on Saturday, without having any plans of going there in the morning. Departing only at 1pm, we arrived at the checkpoint at 2, and managed to get through the Singapore checkpoint only 45 minutes later. Still in a dilemma of choosing whether we should go to Kota Tinggi or Desaru, we went to both places. Streets in Johor Baru is very different from the ones in Singapore. Their "highway"on the road to Kota Tinggi is full of shophouses, shopping marts, factories and people and cars. Only until you reach the outskirts of Johor Baru, you will see that the nature of plantations, low lying areas, blah blah blah. Sooner or later, after an hour drive, you reach Kota Tinggi main town. That place is small. Not a very crowded place. The water fall is not there. It is another 8 kilometres down the road. At a row of shophouses, we asked the people there if we travelled wrongly. No, it was correct, but you still need to travel lapan kilometres. Look at that row of shophouses, the food sold is full of houseflies flying flying flying.... Who DARES TO EAT THE FOOD THERE. They are not in the perfect condition. Ewww....
Then, we reached Kota Tinggi, a resort,the first hotel along the way, a poorly ventilated resort. Keeping lots of animals, the hotel, chalet, or somekind of building is full of crap....NOT NICE... But many Singaporean cars hang out there. No idea why. We took a rest there, take some photos, went to the toilets and looked around. Aiya...this place is not our choice. Go in deeper. WE went in deeper into the "mountains" of Kota Tinggi, and finally, we reached dead end. There is a toll over there and they require us to pay money. HEY! PAY MONEY only wad. But Mom and Dad did not want to waste too much of their time and money. Finally, MOm decided to go to Desaru, somewhere further. 41km away from Kota Tinggi. Travelling back to the roads we sped on, we needed to depend on our luck to find Desaru. My printout on my arms has the map to go there, not to reach there. Because I printed Kota Tinggi, not Desaru. And the arrow pointed ---> to Desaru.
The journey there was unbearable if you wore short pants. You will find that the heat from the sun is burning your thighs. Therefore, wear long pants, or have a pillow or something to cover your thighs. 41 km, one lane per direction, hills and slow moving cars, you try to overtake, quite impossible at certain places. Your fast moving car, or any other fast moving car, may ruin your day.
TIP: If you see other cars overtake you, let them and drive slower a little.

Their "highway"on the road to Kota Tinggi is full of shophouses, shopping marts, factories and people and cars. Only until you reach the outskirts of Johor Baru, you will see that the nature of plantations, low lying areas, blah blah blah. Sooner or later, after an hour drive, you reach Kota Tinggi main town. That place is small. Not a very crowded place. The water fall is not there. It is another 8 kilometres down the road. At a row of shophouses, we asked the people there if we travelled wrongly. No, it was correct, but you still need to travel lapan kilometres. Look at that row of shophouses, the food sold is full of houseflies flying flying flying.... Who DARES TO EAT THE FOOD THERE. They are not in the perfect condition. Ewww....
Then, we reached Kota Tinggi, a resort,the first hotel along the way, a poorly ventilated resort. Keeping lots of animals, the hotel, chalet, or somekind of building is full of crap....NOT NICE... But many Singaporean cars hang out there. No idea why. We took a rest there, take some photos, went to the toilets and looked around. Aiya...this place is not our choice. Go in deeper. WE went in deeper into the "mountains" of Kota Tinggi, and finally, we reached dead end. There is a toll over there and they require us to pay money. HEY! PAY MONEY only wad. But Mom and Dad did not want to waste too much of their time and money. Finally, MOm decided to go to Desaru, somewhere further. 41km away from Kota Tinggi. Travelling back to the roads we sped on, we needed to depend on our luck to find Desaru. My printout on my arms has the map to go there, not to reach there. Because I printed Kota Tinggi, not Desaru. And the arrow pointed ---> to Desaru.
The journey there was unbearable if you wore short pants. You will find that the heat from the sun is burning your thighs. Therefore, wear long pants, or have a pillow or something to cover your thighs. 41 km, one lane per direction, hills and slow moving cars, you try to overtake, quite impossible at certain places. Your fast moving car, or any other fast moving car, may ruin your day.
TIP: If you see other cars overtake you, let them and drive slower a little.
We missed the turn to Desaru.....
Holidays

This week is ^(up) and v(down).
Firstly, my ears. They are going to make me deaf. Dunno what stupid things went into my both ears during swimming or something, making me almost deaf for at least 1 week olready. Such nuisence.... Listen al so cannot.
Secondly, the partial blackout in my house. NO one knows ehat happen...UNTIL mysteriously, Dad call or something, reporting the button dropped out. Then mum realise that it was true and fixed it back immediately. Haiz....We have been living in the dark for at least 3 days....Wonder how we survived. Luckily...It is upstairs lights, and the stairs lights that lead to the main power...not those plugged in with a cable. It was a rainy day when we found out that 5 lights gone spoilt or something. But,,,,,nothing to worry about.
Thirdly, Dad is in India for the past 1 week+4days returning on this Saturday. I wonder what was like in Chennai. However, he also went to Bangdalore(or Bangladore or something) and Mumbai(i tink so)....Thinking these places are so cool, it makes me want to travel more around the world...
4thly, Just read finish the ANITA DESAI book....Village by the sea. stories are very complex to understand at first, but when you go on, you will find something suitable suitable, especially fiction stories. Talks about a boy in a dilemma choosing jobs, but evantually goes bombay to find jobs and survive there. It makes me want to travel too.
5thly, Yesterday I went to Tiong Bahru NEW FOOD CENTre. quiteNice place. I dunno why they made it such a impressive place...There is only a food centre and a market and several other stalls. Quite big wad. I oso saw many ppl walk about. Including one ppl I saw b4(should be some tr from Primary school), but I dont think is her...Strange!~~~
6thly, Xiao Yi yi made her arrival out of house today... Dont know what's her reason. She is quite ok wad. But soon things turn rot to my mum's side, their relationship turn rotter. hardly talk for the past 1 1/2 years. Lets talk some history about the room she live in lah...They(xiao yi yi and wu yi yi) moved in when I was very young. bout 3-4 yrs old. I still remember slightly going to Bukit merah and fetch them. Xiao Yi Yi worked somewhere in Suntec City at that time. And then Wu Yi Yi worked somewhere in Lower Delta Rd...The road where you can go to sentosa. I remember Wu Yi Yi worked nightshift and was an angry woman, not wanting anybody to disturb her in her morning sleep. And always da bao food to her office to eat during midnight. Then, I 4get which maid, maybe Ratri( or someone), would cook dinner everyday by 5pm for her to bring to office. Then mum and dad comes back from work at 6-7pm. There was once when Francis came to our house during Primary 2 and play. But was chased off by wu yi yi for disturbing her in her sleep. HMMM....She left our house to Kuching at 2000 or 2001(or izzit 2002). Can't remember....
She used to be bad-tempered. And had always disagreed with us. However, there are some things which I remember about Wu Yi Yi. I was PRI 2 that time. Another time was when I asked her, HOW DID THE JAPANESE LOST THE BATTLE in WWII? She told me this in chinese. "In 1945, America made a big big bomb and bombed Japan." Ya, It was true. A fact. But the "big big" bomb was actually the automic bomb.
Xiao Yi yi was different. Very different. Once when I was young, she brought me out to Suntec City and shopped. I was very young at that time. PRI 1, I guessed. And she bought a calculator for us and a educational CD which costs $5 about maths(should be math).I went back telling mummy, xiao yi yi bought a cd 4 me." "did you thank her?"she replied. "Ya" I answered. Another time was not long ago(2004/2005). I forgot where mum was going, Maybe to Auntie Lian Mei's new house. And she told me to follow Xiao Yi Yi to her feng shui shop in Punggol. Wah, so far. And I thought of going there by MRT all the way. But she said, Take a MRT to Woodlands and take a bus to the first stop in Punggol. Then, take a free shuttle ride to Punggol Plaza. Punggol was quite a nice place. I have never been to a shop being one of the shopkeeper b4. Quite a good xperience. When I was supposed to go home, Dad fetched me back from the shopping centre, and paid 4 a taxi about $15. So x. After that the heat between my mum's side went on fire....
My camera wasn't working. But it worked well when I took a photo of xiao yi yi today. She walked away silently. Memories upon me, she lived in the house a year less than me on 2006, and is moving back to bukit merah. I could not figure out the reason why she moved out, but factors seemed attacking me. If I was an outsider, I would ask " why did you move out when there is your sister looking after u?" I just dont know what happen or why it must happen. Memories. My tears are falling. It was memories that attacked me. I dunno why the world is like this. Even MUM says," (i dont quite remember)...." rather than making an action. I dunno how, why....
7thly, I changed the NIKON lousy camera's battery today. The EVERYDAY battery sucks when it comes to cameras.
I hate font size lucida handwriting on MSN SPACE!!!!Any readers, PLEASE TAKE NOTE....Dont ever use LUCIDA Handwriting. It just I dunno why...SUCKS.

Police-the second time

The second police group that appeared so close to me was today.
With such a unpleasant things happening, I dunno how my life is going to carry on. .
Firstly, the police do not know how to speak FANTASTIC english. As a role model in making observations and something, Police must also speak good english so as to be recognised by the members of the public. Role models must be all rounded, I feel that they should at least brush up their speaking skills or SOMETHING. If not, tell my school teachers, like Miss Laura Ng to teach or something. WELL....
LOVELY dramatic action. BUT i just wish it was an action filming live, in BUKIT BATOK....the dunno who, sitting beside the window crying maybe bcoz of dpression or somthing. Then we call police but when we call the police, the person went into the unit. HOW I WISH I COULD TAKE A PHOTO of attempting to tiao4 lou2 zi4 sha1... HMM but the prob is I dunnt have batteries for my camera. HAIZ//
Anyway the police handwriting was damm small, only can fit between the lines. And maybe ugly...I could take the photos as an evidence. DUH I dunt have a camera... And no batteries. ONLY A NIKON COOLPIX800....DAT CAMERA damm lousy. Lousier than the lousiest school's camera....

SMO DISMAL results

Browsing through the results of SMO, one one btps fren got into the next round for the SMO. that is Tiong Suan, in NUS HIGH SHOOL of MATHS AND SCIENCE. Must find one day to congradulate him.
I was not shortlisted but My school frens were shortlisted. 8 from my special class of maths genius, and lots more of Maths genius in the first half of the year and the second half of the year were in and out respectively. I think I wont be attending monday maths quiz training anymore. Haiz.
If Shi-jie and eng keat were to concentrate more on their Smo Special round, big trouble.......Our projects day will fail terribly. HAIZ....
I feel like I am a piece of dead fish, in the middle of oil spills, for I got the last in my class, obtaining a CERTIFICATE OF PARTICIPATION for being the stupid genius.

SLC--Student Leaders convention

Like the Aphelion nite....Maybe even better, but there were some bad points....
Boys and Gals Alike, Exchanging handphone numbers after the 4 days of Student Leader Convention. It could be said as a memorable day for the OT, OS, facilitators and All, as this four days imprinted loads of good and bads over the Secondary 3 councillors as they made frens with each other. No doubt Sua Yu was crying as he had prepared this 4 day event for the past 6 months.
Boys there made frens with gals, gals there made frens with boys. There were so many student leaders who could not bear to leave each other these 4 days, as I witnessed it.
In the morning of the last day, the event was a proposal of Jarguan Island. Jarguan Island was a communist island who broke away from the world after its communism activities. The teams broken up into Conglomerates 1-9 were to make proposals of building Jarguan Island into a new place to attract millions of people. The talk and proposals were boring, and I almost fell asleep while other ppl were playing poker cards in the control rm. The QNA was 7 long minutes and it started to drag when it is expected to end at 2.45pm.
The performance later was so bad for photo as Sze Chuen is gonna becoming a freelance photograppher and he wanted to leave the "career" as a school photographer. A bad opportunity to the school, as we lost an unnatural talent. I took p-h-o-t-o-s but they were bad. Lightings not good blah blah blah...I dunt want to mention much. Haiz... Lincoln is leaving his duty as a photographer. HAIZ

The almost unlucky day was yesterday after SLC when I almost lost my bag. It took me off with my soul. But there were no valuables and I managed to retrieve it back when A student councillor walked past.....I AM SO STUPID...No wonder.

This yrs SMO(J) was the toughest I feel. But I dunno why I dont feel the intense pressure in my nerves and under my eyes. LOOK at Shi-Jie, he got $100 for Chinese DENG1 MI2 competition, Will score the first in this year's SMO(J). and May be the champion for his coming Chinese Chess competition.
Haiz...If my Chinese standard is dam well, and my maths is dam pro and my photography skills is dam high and my Other subjects is dam good, I wouldn't want to admit that I am the lousiest. However, miracle wouldnt always happen to me.
I lost one mark to one question I know how to do. The problem is I calculated too quickly and missed out one of the squares. Q30 was supposed to be the difficult ones. Although I know how to do, I misculcalated. HAIZ....ONe precious mark gone. Heaven was not on my side. Overall, the first question....
